Framing photography is using things that could make a frame inside the picture so that you can create a pleasing composition that directs the viewers attention to certain parts of the Image

This is my best one because It has the foreground in focus, it is far enough away you can see through and what's reflected in the window along with the mirror. This makes it more interesting because it gives the viewer more to look at and more to try and figure out. The background is more eye catching with the red bus right next to the green trees this is because red and green are contrasting colours which draw you in. On top of all that it seems to be well suited for an edit as I can add something to the reflections in the mirror or the window for example it could be a way to display my other photos since I am doing framing.

This is my worst one because it is rushed. The background is out of focus . The mirror its self also isnt capturing anything interesting. You cant really distinguish what is going on and it makes it hard to be drawn in . Shutter speed being too low has meant that the image isnt very crisp and also that the lighter highlights on the top of the mirror are over exposed. the overall effect of the image is lost and the aesthetic has not been captured. Another problem is that I can't really add to it either on photoshop with other things on top it would look too messy.

BestThis one is my best because it is good use of the beams for framing, the sun right behind them gives a nice shine that brings you to see what is is. The buildings also have the reflection of the clouds on the bottom of them and it almost even looks like the buildings are just floating in the sky. This is a nice effect because it shows the modern architecture that's in Manchester now and even makes you think about what could be in the future. The ISO has been used well because its not too bright, dark or grainy.

WorstThis is my worst one because it is over exposed. I would assume the shutter speed was too high, letting too much light in, and on top of that it was pointing at the sun anyway. Something that's not good about it is that there's this pole at the top which could have been used to block the sun and even could have been man made framing but instead only a little bit of it made it into the picture and it doesn't look like there's any thought put into it. There's also a person in it with their camera.

BestThe reason this is the better picture is because I've affectively utilised the theme of framing through the angle I have taken it at since you see it through the diamond shaped gap between the brick. It has this urban look which is nice and it goes with the plan I had for this shoot. On top of that the subject is emphasised and can be read clearly, the bricks shape is almost even shaped to fit the writing. The ISO has resulted in a crisp image that isn't too bright and the shutter speed has meant that there is no camera shake as it isnt too low. Since I took this looking inside a building I decided to use a shade white balance to make reds yellows and oranges blend well with the rest of the picture because shade has a warmer look and I think the contrast on the grey brick for one makes it less crowded and also brings out the reds.

WorstThis is my worst because, although it has some nice features like the orange building in the reflection blended in with the orange wall of the inside of the building then the red car going past. It definitely uses colour well. However in rushing to get the car in the reflection I now have some motion blur and also the picture on a whole is messy. This affect can be intentional but in this picture it shows that it isn't. The sign is indistinguishable and is lost amongst the other things going on in the picture.
